| Black-Goat.com will never be updated again. I think most of you already noticed since the last news post is from 2009. Black-Goat.com will remain online to function as an archive of information on Slipknot. If you're looking for updated information on Slipknot I suggest you give Slipknot-Metal, OpiumofthePeople.net or their official website a try.

I wonder if anyone remembers me...
Anyway, it's sad to see such an amazing site go down. This was the very first site I've joined and participated in a forum (although some Swedish dickhole hacked it and it was down for almost two years. HAHA!).
I would have loved to talk to some of the people who used to be on here. It's been YEARS, but they still stand as some of the most open people I've ever met on a virtual site. |

I first heard about Opeth on this site, and many other bands, too. I remember arguing and compromising and just passing the time on this site, commenting in old news posts and finding it a miracle when a news article was uploaded!
Of course, all good things had to end. As the forum came back and the number of members went up, I left and would come back on an annual basis and, as sad as it is to see this site go, I'm happy to remember all the fucking badass times I've had here. |
