Buck of the 104.1 The Edge radio station conducted an interview with SLIPKNOT vocalist Corey Taylor prior to the band's March 4, 2009 concert at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Watch the 10-minute chat below.
Taylor
caused a stir in January when he revealed plans to make his first solo
album sometime in the next year. The biggest question for fans was what
would happen with Taylor's other group, STONE SOUR, whose last effort, "Come What(ever) May", surfaced in 2006. Taylor told The Pulse of Radio
that he's keeping his priorities straight when it comes to new
projects. "I think what got people up in arms is the fact that, you
know, it was a question of what was going to come first, solo album or STONE SOUR?" he said. "What it comes down to is that we've put a lot of work into STONE SOUR, and for me to turn around and put out a solo album first would kind of destroy the foundation that we've built for STONE SOUR. So starting this fall, we ar...

According to The Pulse of Radio, SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor
happens to be a huge comic book geek, and if there's one thing he's
looking forward to this year, it's next month's long-awaited release of
the movie "Watchmen", based on a graphic novel that's considered by many fans as the Holy Grail of comic books. Taylor explained to The Pulse of Radio
why he's "stoked" for the movie's March 6 arrival. "This is a movie
that a lot of people have been waiting 20 years for, and I am
ecstatic," he said. "I mean, just from the trailers I've seen, it looks
incredible. I think the casting was done really well. I think it's got
the potential. I'll be off the road and I'll be able to go to a theater
and go see this movie. I think it's gonna be really good. I'm hoping
it's going to be really good."
SLIPKNOT is currently in the midst of a 33-city headlining tour that stops in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday (February 23).
The band will headline Columbus, Ohio's Rock On The Range festival in May and will hit the European festival circuit in June and July.

The Detroit News recently did an interview with Clown from Slipknot, read the interview below.
At home in Iowa
“I am sitting in my living room, in my house in Des Moines, Iowa. We
just got off a 10-week run in Europe, Japan and Australia and all that
good stuff. Ten weeks is a long time to be out on tour, especially in
Europe, being that everything is just completely opposite than it is
here. So I’d say that last 14 days was a lot of anxiety, a lot of
little nitpicking; we were ready to come home and re...
