SLIPKNOT has been confirmed for the Roskilde festival,
set to take place July 2-5, 2009 in Roskilde, Denmark. There are also
warm-up events which run from Saturday, June 28 until the start of the
festival. Also scheduled to appear are MADNESS and COLDPLAY.

The Pulse of Radio reports: SLIPKNOT begins its first solo headlining tour in support of the band's latest album, "All Hope Is Gone", on Friday (January 23) in St. Paul, Minnesota. Frontman Corey Taylor told The Pulse of Radio that fans who saw the group on last summer's Rockstar Energy Mayhem

World Entertainment News Network reports that SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor plans on taking a break from performing with the two bands so he can put out a solo album.
Taylor
wants to release an LP of his own material and has even built up a
catalog of over 40 songs under consideration for the project.
